ROBERTO MUÑOZ

lightweight architect

My professional life has been similar to climbing mountains. I studied architecture at University of Guadalajara and specialized in textile architecture when I did a master’s degree at Anhalt University of Applied Sciences. My profession led me to travel around Europe looking for inspiring works and materials suppliers to create my own lightweight materials structures.

The first container with textiles came from Serge Ferrari, this allowed me to start designing new projects, and after a while, start my own company where we make innovative light weight architecture projects possible.

I create structures inspired in what biology gives us, everything there is in nature. Its shapes, aesthetics, functionality, and structures. By aspiring to imitate them, we create bioarchitecture.

AND THE BEST IS YET TO COME

We are sure that the beauty of the architectural shapes we can create, with lightweight architecture inspired in the structures, membranes, shapes, and colors that nature gives us, can have a positive impact that inspires and creates identity, shows functionality, efficiency, and harmony with the surroundings.
